A series of online conversations of Ukrainian and foreign intellectuals about the experience of war and their own observations
On February 24, 2022, the Russian Armed Forces began a full-scale invasion on Ukraine. Within the project, Ukrainian and foreign intellectuals talk about the experience of wartime, analyze the causes of the invasion and comprehend how the war is changing Ukrainians and the international community.
Project events take place several times a month from March till November 2022. Follow the announcements!
Within the framework of the project, Ukrainian and foreign authors reflect on what Ukrainians have learned about themselves and what they have no right to forget, what illusions they got rid of or still need to get rid of, what they realized, how they will position themselves when speaking to the world from now on. They also think which lessons the civilized world should learn from the Russian-Ukrainian war and what to do to avoid the repetition of such tragedies.
The events take place in the partnership with the International PEN, the American PEN, the Ukrainian Institute, the Ukrainian Institute in London, the Ukrainian Scientific Institute of Harvard University, and the UkraineWorld publication.
